DVD Media Universe Poor quality and defective DVDs from China

Ordered Checkmate Complete Series. Web site advertised these as having excellent video and audio quality. Web site did not inform that these would be supplied from China.

Disks arrived and were defective. One disk would not even load on any of my players. Others stopped during play, sound skipped, and video was fuzzy. Labels were computer printed with some hand written numbering.

Contacted their customer service. They agreed to a full refund if I returned the disks. These had to be returned to China, which I did at considerable expense. E-mailed their customer service with confirmation of delivery from Post Office, but no refund to date.

Have provided supporting documentation, and am pursuing refund through my credit card company. Bottom line, do not order from these folks. They are misrepresenting the quality of these DVDs and are not responsive about issuing a credit, etc.
