Had an unwanted mobile phone pushed onto me by a representative of the company who could barely speak english, was extremely rude arrogant and forceful and I was unable to understand one word that was Adelaide

I was sent a mobile from this company against my wishes. They continually harassed me to activate the phone.in the first instance, the representative of the company could not speak english correctly and rattled off his prelearned dialogue with hardly a breath in between unintelligible questions. Everything ended with "Right", regardless that I neither answered his questions nor understood what he was saying.

I had attempted to obtain a return address for the phone but was unable to secure the address from any of the operators I spoke to. The operators also attempted to have my 12 and 14 year old daughters obtain phones after I had hung up on them when they first attempted to push their mobiles onto me.

I have now received a letter from an unknown source, who also obviously has no familiarity with the english language or how to spell correctly, threatening me with court for an unpaid account. The main heading starts with "LAST WARNING - ". The first line I read was, This is Jerry Hastings, do you remember me? It's in your interest to remember me... If you have already called us then please disregard this letter... However if you have not then let me make it clear this will be the last letter from me! I supposedly received a letter from them 14 days prior which is incorrect. If I contact them immediately it will be settled out of court and I could stand to gain a saving of up to half of the said amount owing.

Now I would not have minded contacting them if they had not used the mafia style tactics but now I have to wonder if the man is now going to threaten my daughters and I with more than a court appearance, a cement shoe or driveby maybe.

I must add that I had contacted them on a couple of occasions in regard to paying the account but my proposal was not deemed worthy.
