Are you planning a move soon? Are you thinking of hiring a moving company to move your precious belongings? PLEASE read my story before you decide on a company, so that you don't get scammed like I did.
I moved from California back to New Orleans last November and utilized the services of the moving company Storage and Relocation. It has been, and still is, one of the WORST experiences of my life. I feel like people need to know how some of the moving companies are treating their customers. Apparently this is not anything new. After talking to several people, I found out these things happen all the time. So, how do consumers know which company is honest, reliable and will not scam you out of money or ruin your belongings?
I spoke to the sales person for Storage and Relocation on the phone and gave her DETAILED descriptions and exact measurements of every box and every item that needed to be moved out of my one bedroom apartment.
