Aware but sweet talked

Once again I will go back to the old me and not be sweet talked by these door to door sales. As most others reported I had someone come to my door selling magazine subscriptions to aid in their betterment. After letting him know I was aware of the scams with this type of sales and that I do not order from such people he gave me a sob story about the economy and that he was going to use it to open his own business to become self supporting and less reliant on his parents. I too have received the late notice regarding lack of payment. I have decided not to fulfill the sending in of even more money considering that I have not as of yet received the first magazine. The first check I wrote has been cashed and considering that there is no way of getting hold of this company except through a PO box I will take the chance of them reporting me to the credit agency at which time I will dispute it in court. At least that way someone has to show up in person. I do have a copy of his authorization with his picture on it which did not seem to disuade him from carrying out this ruse. I thought if this was a scam he would bak out then. Next time I will ask for a Florida driver license to compare the ID to as well.
