Stay Away from this Doctor!

I went to this doctor because I had double vision. This was causing a major problem in my life. I could not drive or see anything correctly. I went to see Dr. Spector because my eye doctor said he was one of the people in Atlanta who could figure out what was wrong but to not be suprised by his awful bedside mannor. This was a huge understatement. I have been to many doctors in my life but never been treated so poorly. As I am explaining to him that I see two of everything he tells me that " Lots of people have double vision it is not a big deal you learn to live with it " That is an exact quote. He thought he knew what was wrong but had to order an MRI to be sure. This ended up costing me about $2500 out of pocket. When I came back to see him he said what he thought was wrong was not. That was the end of it he was ready to move on to his next patient.

I told him that there had to be something he could do and finally he said "Oh I forgot you had a swollen nerve I guess I can give you a pill for that " But that was it no explanation no next step no nothing to try just come back in 6 to 8 weeks and see if anything changes. I still have not been able to get a copy of my records which my eye doctor and myself have asked for numerous times. Then 4 months later I end up getting a 700.00 bill. When I called about it they were rude and wanted to know why it had not been paid yet they had just sent it out not my fault it was 4 months later. After taking the pills he gave me for a week they caused a nasty skin infection when I called about getting something to clear it up I was told by his nurse that they dont do that. REALLY well then what do they do take your money and offer you no solution what so ever. Please stay away from this doctor he does not care about his patients and only cares about what he can charge you.
