Tim Cox - Greencastle - Ag Cap Timothy D. Cox, Westcastle, Greencastle, Greencastle Ag. Cap promised a job, compensation for six months of work, misrepresented their financial condition in pursuit of private equity investment in Brazil

Miscellaneous

Due to a painful unemployment experience in the states I moved my family to Brazil to help my father-in-law sell real estate for his business.in my attempts to market some bigger investment items Tim Cox from Westcastle, soon to be Greencastle Ag Cap called me regarding some investment items. He told me he had four hundred million dollars to invest in Brazilian real estate and wanted to open up a Brazilian corporation to invest his funds.

I suggested he take his money to private equity consultants because private equity would be a much better investment involving more leverage and better returns. I spent a great deal of time helping him, using important contacts and assuring them that Tim was an honest individual. I did all this with no cost to him, but if he did start his PE fund I would get a small percentage (finder's fee for funds invested).

When the work of developing his PE fund became overly time intensive I asked him for a $15,000 retainer for my months of work and for sticking my neck out on his behalf.

He offered me a job instead and told me that I would start getting compensated for working for Greencastle in mid December. He even called me out of the blue three weeks before Christmas to tell me to cheer up, saying that he had my "Christmas present" in his hand. I kept working for him, attempting to find investment deals for him in Brazil and attempting to arrange a good working relationship for his Private Equity fund.

In late January, with no compensation in sight and with no contact from Tim, and him probably sensing that my trust in him was quickly waning, Tim offered to bring me to Dallas in mid-February to meet him and his associate, Joe Edwards. He promised to pay for the flight and to compensate me for my time.

Today, with no word from him and nothing but lies and broken promises between us I have no doubt that Tim Cox was merely manipulating me for some purpose from the beginning.

Perhaps in order to raise funds in the United States he thought the idea of having a full-time consultant in Brazil could gain some needed credibility.

Cryptic, confusing, manipulative, selfish, thoughtless, uncaring, and very unprofessional. These are all terms I would use to describe Tim Cox from Greencastle Ag Capital. He seems to have an entitlement type of personality, feeling as if his hundreds of millions (real or imaginary) entitle him to think less of others. He was dishonest with me from the beginning and I only have myself to blame for trusting him.

He stole many hours out of my life working like hell for his lies. People who take others so lightly have no business doing any business.
