Independent Contractor's Service Magazine Scam Delray Beach

I got caught by this scam as well. I sort of knew it was a scam but offered my $30 just in case it was legitimate. I have done some research into this company and have so for found the following. FloRd Agency is not a registered company. All checks were made out to Independent Contractor's Service which is a DBA for Robert Armijo. I'm assuming he is out of Miami as his listed business address is 13727 S.W. 152nd. Street #108 miami, fl 33177. I have yet to confirm if this is a true address. There is also another address listed at 3491-11 THOMASVILLE ROAD #160 TALLAHASSEE, FL 32309. I also don't know if this is a true address. He is also having some IRS problems and I found the Attorney representing him in this matter.

There is only 1 ROBERT ARMIJO that lives in Miami and that address is 13965 SW 84 St Unit 1101 Miami FL 33183. I can't confirm at the moment if that is actually the same person.
