Magazine selling scam to help pay for college Del Ray Beach

Kid came to my door saying that he was selling magazines so that he would get a bond from the government to help pay for college. Now I'm out cash and it's too late to cancel the check. The cashee's name was Genevive Smith. Mad that I fell for it, but it's the first and last time. Everyone gets scammed at least once in their life. I'm just lucky that I can bounce back from it easily. Hopefully these people get caught soon.
