Lies in Hiring, Then They Steal From You

On or about 1-25 I received a phone call with a 202 area code, and it was a representative from HR at TRG Field SOlutions. I was interviewed for a position of "Outside Sales Person" Buisness to Business only. I listened to his offer, and accepted a position, with training to start the next day. I was promised a pay check at the end of the week, a company provided cell phone, and some leads at no cost to me.

I showed up the next morning and began training.By the end of the week, There was no company cell phone provided, and no paycheck. I was to begin to report for work on Monday, using my own vehicle and my gas, without reimbursement. I was to make any and all calls at my expense using my personal cell phone.

I resigned on Monday morning. My first and only paycheck was $30 short from the promised $60 per day training pay. The office manager told me that my drug screening and background checks were deducted.

This company says they are an authorized Verizon contractor. I feel lied to and cheated. I would never have accepted a position with a company that expects me to fund all the expense of travel to the sales prospects. They never asked me to prove my car had adequate insurance! This is a less than professional company, and I highly suggest you seek employment elsewhere.
