Misleads That She Does Forensic Work

I agree with the previous blogger and I find it misleading in my opinion that Dr. Katalin Eckstein implies that she does forensic psychology or has forensic experience.

When I had the unfortunate experience of crossing her path, she had no forensics certification whatsoever. As these other reports state, she used second-, third-, fourth-, and fifth-hand information only, with an absolute disregard for first-hand information and the ethical standards of practice that surround the same.

I find other points on her resume misleading. Her implication that she works on "very high conflict" cases, even though we only refer to such cases as "high conflict cases, " does not change the fact that she has a history of unethical case-handling. I refer here not to the outcomes of her cases, but rather the paradigm of her behavior and poor judgment in these cases.

Further, a doctor has one role only in "high conflict" cases; that is, to heal, reunify, and certainly to involve parents in keeping informed and in touch with their children.

Just this past week, I was in a meeting during which Dr. Katalin Eckstein and the guardian ad litem she work (ed) with were described as "dangerous" to families and children in the opinions of all those present.

To the blogger that wrote about her audacity to testify in court against a parent she never treated/had contact with, she did that in my experiences as well. She could have lost her license for that.

In my opinion, this is not someone that anyone should contact regarding forensic psychology matters or divorce/domestic violence cases of any type. Please do not be misled by the cards she stacks on her recent resume.
