Taken Advantage of!

Back in November we began researching loan modifications options. We first contacted Making Homes Affordable to see if we would qualify under the Obama plan. However, we did not qualify. That same day we were contacted by Derrick Landers, a litigator for Campbell Firm. He stated that he could save us $500 to $1,000 dollars a month due to my medical condition and us being upside down in our mortgage.
After researching Campbell Law Firm hich appeared to be a reputable law firm registered with the Florida Bar, we decided to enter into an agreement on the terms of one house payment of $1,800.00 with a satisfaction guarantee. We were instructed to forward all of our personal information, i, e, Tax Returns, Pay Check Stubs, Banking Information.
We were contacted by our Mortgage Company which stated that Cambell Law was representing us. Being skeptical due to previously being taken by another company named New Hope Loan Modification.
Same as many other posts on this site, we have unsuccessfuly attempted to conact Campbell Law Firm and some of their associates to include, Cynthia Yturriaga, Selina Mitchell, Derrick Landers and Jan Roberts all of which we have had previous contact with throughout the process. On January 25th was the last contact that we had with Derrick Landers who stated that we would not hear back until February 14
Since January 26th we have called and emailed with no response. All mail boxes are full and cannot except any messages.
0 for 2 with the loan modification process... Hard working americans shafted again... The next step, BBB, Attorney's General and our congressman
