False Documentation. Unauthorized withdrawal Fort Worth

Certain salespersons at this company are committing fraud. Here is my story and how to get your money back:
During my conversation with a National Benefit Association representative, I was told that when / if I agreed to go with their plan, another representative would talk with me to go over the terms of the license agreement so I could formally approve.
This never happened. Let me repeat, I was not read a comprehensive list of the terms nor did I even informally agree to any part of this plan. I said I needed time to decide and would call them back. I was told in order to save me a place (or some such nonsense) for this limited time offer, they would need my account number. I naively gave them this information, but verbally said I did not yet want to join. They did not say that giving them my account number signified agreement. I found that out later. I did not call back, and a few days later I discovered they'd taken out a payment $100 higher than the qoute I'd been given.
(From reading other complaints, I now know this extra 100 was the processing fee.)
Furthermore, someone at the sales office in Texas entered information into their computer system saying that a second representative had gone over all the terms of the liscense agreement with me, going so far as to list the name of the person who (didn't) speak with me.
This I discovered when I called their corporate office and a woman, marilyn, who I talked to looked my information up on the computer. Thankfully she was honest and helpful and canceled my membership.
Rubuttals by NBAA employees repeatedly assure us that consumers are simply ill informed and that they would have had to agree to all the terms and that the company records these conversations for its own protection. This is what is supposed to happen. But there are clearly certain salespersons in this company committing fraud.
I should never have given my account number. I didn't realize that this was enough information for them to withdraw money. Lesson learned.
Your Money: If, like me, you never agreed to go with this company and they took out money from your account anyway, you can contest the withdrawal through your bank (within 60 days of recieving your bank statement). They will put the money back in your account. Then put a stop payment on your account for the next 4-6 months. This means that all transactions will be reviewed by a human being and further withdrawals by the NBAA will be blocked during that time period. Of course be sure to call the NBAA and have them cancel your (false) membership so they do not repeatedly try to withdraw money from your account. Try to get a confirmation number for the cancellation and the full name of the person you spoke to in case they do not follow through.
