First, look up this company with the secretary of state and it has NO business license (s). Second, google the owner and you will easily find "character references" for him, the he himself has posted all over the internet through his own writings and his blogradio show.

He is absolutely the most non-professional IT person I have ever come into contact with and I know many, many IT professionals.

He has posted information regarding strangers for no apparent reason other than he wants to be a pseudo-tabloid reporter on his very strange and weird blog. There is pending litigation surrounding his actions as well. Which you will not find on the internet.

I would stay as far away from him as possible. If you choose to do business with him I would ask for many, many references, and I would not pay him until he can produce a Federal ID number for his business.

To be honest, since he has a way of sharing personal information for those he doesn't know, and seems to not understand when he is crossing a line, I wouldn't let him near my computer because he will probably put spyware on it to use against me at a later date. Confidentiality is not something that he would understand. I doubt he would know a non-disclosure agreement if you asked him to sign one to protect any private information on your computer system.

If you are going to pay an IT pro, find one with an actual degree, with real experience, who can guarantee their work. And, that they have a real business license.
