My complaint os for false advertising, bait and switch people: Avery AC, I found out is a huge nation wide company. I called them when getting bids to replace out worn out AC units (two of them). I wanted a bid for two efficient coils and condensers (outside units). The representative they sent out asked a very peculiar question (in my opinion). He asked me what our budget was before we talked about doing any work. Anyway, to cut to the chase, their Radio and Television Advertisements are so pathetic, to believe that they are in such poor shape, they will not even make a profit, do people actually believe this stuff?

Anyway, after I received quotes from about seven (including Avery AC) local contractors, I made my choice. However, I called Avery back to see if they could beat the competition, as their bid was almost twice as much as many of the other local companies I chose to get bids from, the representative was very rude to me. I feel like the representative was only working their as a stop gap until he found a better job?

I am a researcher when it comes to doing ANYTHING in or around my home, in fact I try to do as much of it myself. So, when I see things like this happening, the false advertising has to stop in this country, what a joke! I feel sorry for people who do not educate themselves and are trapped by companies like Avery, because they give and entire industry a bad name, period. There is no honor without integrity.
