Rice Auto Sales Don't trust these CROOKS! They clear sensor codes out to deceive people!

We went down looking for a van and found this dealership - found the type of van we were looking for and went for a test drive, all seemed fine so we bought it. Claimed nothing was seriously wrong with the thing.

After the paperwork was signed and we're leaving the lot the service engine light comes on - come to find out that not only is the camshaft position sensor toast (lucky my brother in law has the computer to read this thing) It also needs the intake manifold replaced, the exhaust doughnut replaced, a new serpentine belt, the drain plug is stripped and leaking, and the power steering hose return line needs to be replaced.
Now, nobody expected that there would be no work required on this vehicle, but to actively remove an error/problem code and disavow all knowledge of it seems really on the shady side, even for a car dealership. Obviously nothing is too below the belt for these guys. Especially when she knew I was expecting any day now and would have a newborn in this vehicle.
Lessons learned - TAKE ANY VEHICLE TO A REAL MECHANIC before you sign anything! These people cleared the codes to screw somebody and it worked.
Always do the research on the dealership. I got home and found out there was already a complaint done on these same people for something else.
This will be the last time one of these crooks gets me and hopefully you don't get taken for a ride too.
