Scammed! Never thought it would happen to me

I found this ad on Craigslist for house rental. I called the number regarding the house: wanted the address to go by and check it out. They gave me a sales pitch regarding how they can help find a house to rent. I had told them that I have a rotweiller and and a cat and that I needed to find a house ASAP. On top of that I don't have much money left. These people sent me a password to get on their site. I went through it looking for a rental house. All I got were apartments in the most sketchiest areas! And the sad thing is I went to find these properties: THEY DON'T EVEN EXIST!!! I immediately called for a refund. First I left a message for them to call and the reason why: refund. They didn't call me back. I had to call them! They denied me. Then my credit card company wouldn't even help as well. This totally sucks! At this time, I will be homeless soon. Please, anyone reading this: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are con artists!
