DC Financial H.O.P.E. Ripp-off scam

This company contacted me after I filled out a request on the HUD website. They claimed they could get my mortgage modified. After paying the fee wich turned out too be more than quoted, was instructed to fill out financial statement and call a rep. The rep Vernell Burris did not return any calls. After several calls & emails asking for a refund, received a call. They will not issue a refund, and claim they prepared a package for the mortgage company. The mortgage company has never heard of them. No Doucaments were ever sent to them, how could they prepare a package? This is a total scam.
