They lied to me

I went to American Apparel today, the one located in south miami florida, with my receipt of a store credit of 8.56 of an item that I had returned in the past to the american apparel store located in miami beach, Fl and there they said it was fine to use that as credit and that it would never expire, I used partially the credit of and the remaining credit they gave it to me in that paper the 8.56

I go to this store I intend to a large purchase of about 7 items, and there a bit expensive for there things but I like bright colored clothes and they seem to have alot of that, sounds like a good match. However, they didn't recognize my 8.56 credit, I felt like I was totally lied to after this girl from the store in the beach claimed to me that it was fine to present the paper receipt with the credit. I then just bought 5 items and told the girl that "I'm never coming to this store again, because i just lost my 8 dollar credit".

Be very careful of American apparel granting you a store credit, I would suggest using it the same day they give it to you so they don't try and play you later.
