Do NOT under any circumstances bother with the Careerbuilder "upgrade" options. This results in nothing other than a flood of scam emails and fake job adverts.in one month of their $150 service, my resume was indeed located and searched, and I received dozens of job offers and invitations for interview. Not one of them was a real job and most were featured on rip off report.
Secondly, it seems that all, or almost all, of the "jobs" advertised on careebuilder simply do not exist. After a few weeks, you notice the same job appearing over and over again. These jobs are fake and serve the one and only purpouse of making it look like there are lots of opportunities in the hope that you will buy services and products from careerbuilder. There are other web sites in other fields which do this too.
Lastly, it is inconceivable that careerbuilder is unaware and unable to stop the flood of fake job adverts and, even worse, scams that have been going on for months and keep reappearing. Plainly they are, at best, indifferent and, at worst, complicit.
Avoid this website. It is a waste of money and an even worse waste of time.
