I had taken out loans with Cashnetusa.com over the past few years when as a young actress in LA I needed a little financial break between jobs from time to time.

But, the most recent attempt I made at getting a loan from Cashnetusa.com was/is a nightmare. I was approved for $250.00 last summer. But, the representative with whom I spoke was new at the job and unqualified. He accidentally deposited the money into a Bank of America account I no longer had.

When I reported this mistake to their customer service, the reps with whom I spoke were unfriendly and unintelligible. The "account" to which they deposited the funds was no longer open. I called my banker and he verified that this account had been closed weeks before and that Cashnetusa.com had effectively not deposited money into the account — because the account did not exist.

He faxed them proof of this account's lack of existence over 3 times to a specific collections agent — one of the many who has been hounding me. And when they called me again the next day and I answered the phone, they denied having received the fax. He faxed again that week and they still call me. It's a measly $250.00. But it is actually the point. They never gave me any money.

Please save yourself time and effort and do not take out a loan from cashnetusa.com
