In September this event was announced as an Audition, the days before the event, (as you can also hear in the radio commercial) some genius in their company figured out that he could make some quick & easy money by charging people anywhere from $20 to $35 to see their own family member auditioning on a very low-budget stage.

The only equipment for this event was what the theater had nothing else - well, except the 2 college students they got to shot the video that as you can see in their main page is simply TERRIBLE.
In the pictures presented at the festicantos website, you can see that around 65 people showed up to this audition in Chicago (later on called SHOW) Their advertisements say over 550 participants, please note that there has never been one audition where there have been more than 100 participants at one time. That is misleading and misrepresentation of character.

Also, as their advertisement mentions, the first time they made this public, they had an age limit to 35, then it was changed to 45, in the middle of January they changed again to 9 to 99 years old. So although they can claim the right to changes, it is obviously a lack of organization, production experience and a well-set plan to launch an event like this.
