Www.thepetitionsite.com / UNABLE TO DELETE AN ACCOUNT!

In June I was forced to create an account at Care2.com in order to sign a petition. Immediately after signing, I began the process to delete the account. This is not a site I have a huge interest in nor do I wish to have an account there.
The "delete account" link led to nowhere but a blank page. I submitted a Technical Support request for assistance in deleting the account. I received a canned response with a ticket number assigned to my request. This is all I ever received.
It has been nearly 8 months. I have forwarded the canned response to the Technical Support group five times. The account remains active, the "delete account" link remains non-functioning, and I have no other route to take to delete my account.
I strongly urge you to NOT set up an account with this site. The inability to delete the information they require in order to set one up leaves one open to potential misuse/abuse of that information. I am filing any/all complaints where possible.
