Jim Hermansen presented himself as a class A Gassfitter and entered into contract to install a High Efficiency Gas furnance and Heat Pump as well as a Tankless Hot water heater. Only after a large deposit was given was I notified that the equipment and brands I entered into contract could not be supplied and the substitute brand would not qualify for the government grants and rebates. Upon that information within 10 days I cancelled the contract and asked for my deposit back. Jim Hermansen made a outrageous demand saying he spent 20-30 hours of time working on this and demanded a 20% Fee. Only after i kept pressuring him to return my deposit did I find out that he had spent the money on someone else's order and he had spent my money. Now I am taking him to court and would like to inform the world what a Scam artist he is and to stay well away from this person.
