Family Saints Scam! Scam! Scam! No puppy, no refund!

My wife and I agreed to purchase a St. Bernard puppy from Gina and paid the full $750 price via a bank transfer. The night before we were scheduled to pick the puppy up from Gina she told us that the puppy had a heart issue and that she would not allow us to adopt the puppy.

Upon agreeing that we would not take the puppy, we agreed on getting a full refund for the entire $750 purchase price. Gina told me that she would put the check in the mail the following Monday. Two weeks went by, and no check ever came in the mail. After contacting her, she said she was "surprised" that the check had not arrived and asked if maybe my neighbor had taken it.

Shame on me for not checking this website prior to dealing with Gina. If you are thinking about doing business with her—DON'T!!!
