The scammers that ruined my education

I came to US in late 2000 to begin my studies here. Few months after my arrival, I got this call from CMC early in the morning, where in very vague terms explanied to me about this wonderful deal and I can try it without any charge for few months. I told them to send me the terms and conditions in mail, and went of to sleep.

Next statement I get from my credit company, BAMMM, I was charged. I called the company and came to know that they have me in for 5 years! And I will be charged over $500 in next one year. I was new in the country and didnt know what to do. Finally I paid one time amount of ~$350 to save myself whatever money I could.

I was new in US, with limited money to finance my education. Every dollar meant a lot to me at that time, and CMS made my life miserable. I am getting the magazines every week, and each time I get the magazine, it is a reminder how I was swindled. And I read some of the reports today, some people never even got the magazines!

Today is the first time I have come across this website where there is someone to help me and people like me. I hope that some strict action will be taken against this company.
