OSI is not a real company or a real corporation. It is a family business by a few guys down in Florida.
I was in a search of a good shipping company to ship my furniture from a storage in CA to France. OSI with all the good reviews and a competitive price (which turned out to be all fake) was the one I chose to do this shipment for me. They quoted me a price of $2,700 to ship a studio worth of furniture and they said they would do this in 5-6 weeks. After I gave them access to the storage and they went and picked up my furniture and after 5 weeks they called me and said that it would actually cost me $5,100 to do this shipment and it would probably get to me in 2-3 months.
They said if I wanted my furniture back, I had to pay them $2,500 for the cost of picking up my furniture and when I said this does not sound right, they said "well you should have asked about the process before you gave us access to your storage".
Basically, it is now 4 months since they have all my furniture, they do not send me any contract for me to know what the charges are and why I have to pay over $5,000, they have kept all my furniture as hostage, I have no idea where my furniture is.

A Federal Marin Commissioner is also looking at this for me, but she told me that they have very very bad reputation and a lot of complaints against them and FMC is trying to suspend their license for their lack of honesty and ethics
