Briefly, the owner of Gordon's New Dawn, Gordon Riseborough took a large deposit for work agreed to be carried out, did very little work, and then dissappeared off with my money and all the materials on site. Gordons New Dawn is currently listed in the Anglo Info French Riviera tradesmans directory as specialising in Building, Tiling and Gardening works, so I would advise you to read on if you are considering using him as I am now 2000 Euro out of pocket.

As a British Person on the French Riviera I have just had a very bad experience with a company called Gordon's New Dawn, the owner being Gordon Riseborough (I think it is a one man band) and wanted to share my experience with other Anglophones people living here.
