Prolong plus, Promised never to let me down but that was exactly what they did! I have the recording!

On their website and during communication they keep promising they will not let you down or let you hang dry. But that is exactly what they did.

I asked several times before buying: "what if... Breaks?" "It will be covered!" But what if that... Stops working?" "It will be covered, we won't let you down like others!" I was a little uneasy so I recorded the conversations just like they do.in the end I ended up believing Terrance Christian from sales and I purchased the warranty covering the car for 100k miles and 5years. The car drove 25k mi more and the transmission broke.

Same experience as others: took forever to get someone on the phone and finally out to look at it. They tried all tricks to avoid the claim, but all my ducks were in a row.

Finally they dismissed it as "wear and tear". The car specialist shop was flabbergasted. The specific gear was broken and that is not excluded in the fineprint. He has never seen such a slow process and never heard such a thick lie. It's broken. Mechanical failure. Not wear and tear.

Called BBB. They excused Carchex by: "they're just brokers of warranty, not the actual warranty company". Why do BB protect companies like this?

But after you've been on the phone for many hours with "The Choice Manufactoring Company" aka SmartAuto/Pro long Plus etc. You can tell they work 'closely together' and can sometimes hardly remember what the current name of the 'warranty' company is.

Now there's only arbitration. Will it help? Can someone who has been through it with them advise where to start?
