Manager yelled on the phone while taking my order then yelled at me in a hotel lobby saying I don't know what I am talking about & I don't have the "right" to contact the BBB for poor customer service

My husband called to place an order & the person taking the order was very rude. My husband said twice that we would like Sprite to drink and the guy raised his voice and stated stearnly, "Sir, what are you going to have to drink?" He would not let my husband get a word in to clarify the order. At that time my husband was told 30-45 minutes.

The delivery guy gets there 42 minutes later, I am not very good with math and I thought he was late. He started yelling at me in a hotel lobby for finding something to be mad at him about. I tried to explain to him how I was more upset about the treatment over the phone but he kept interupting me. I asked when his manager would be working next and he stated that he is that manager. I then revealed that I will take this to higher power of the Better Business Bureau, he told me I had no right because he didn't do anything wrong and he again stated that I am just trying to find something to be mad at. I told him I would cancel the tip portion off my credit purchase and he said I can't do that, again telling me I don't have the right. He told me I would have to cancel the whole order. I stuck to my grounds and he said would call the police if I didn't give him the food back. My husband then told me to start walking upstairs to our room.

As we are walking away, the pizza guy yells across the lobby, "I hope you don't lose any sleep over this because I know I won't." Then I was walking in front of my husband and the pizza guy continued to yell out (per my husband) "I hope you aren't sleeping next to that tonight, I am know I wouldn't want to touch that." As if he hadn't crossed enough boundaries, that went to far!

We get up to our room to hear the hotel room phone ring and it is him saying that he has my tip in cash for me. I asked my husband to come back down with me in case there were any problems. We go down to the lobby and the pizza guy hand me the tip in cash, I say nothing. He shouts, "Take your money, I don't want it anyway - your business is no longer welcome - you're 86th." I waited by the wall until he left, then I walked across the lobby to the front desk. They through out all the coupons and flyers for this business and were so dissappointed that someone would act that way.

The front desk staff informed me that "86th" means that you are kicked out. So if someone is going to never let me order from them again, which I wouldn't anyways, over their temper tantrum then that is there loss but that is a horrible way to handle a situation with a customer, mind you that could have been resolved by an apology.
