A good friend of mine (let's call him Jim) that lives around here was doing some business with Rich Rifkin and his New Home Alliance / New Home Inc. / newhomeinc.com operation that's now up in Dublin. Big promises were made and he put a lot of money into inventory and labor. Even had everything written down on paper. Then all of a sudden Rifkin pulled out the rug and just like that went with a different deal. The guy has no morals, no honor. Just a slimy salesperson and you better stay far far away.

He was shown by what he now thinks were fake income and revenue statements showing hundreds of thousands in fake revenue. He also said that Rifkin is trying to raise millions for New Home Alliance from venture capital firms, but it's all a sham operation and a fraud.

Jim is too embarrassed to say anything so I'm writing for him. It's a shame that nobody knew about this guy sooner, because it would have saved Jim a lot of money.

From the looks of things on usacomplaints.com other people have also had problems with this guy and his operations, so consider yourself warned.

I have a different private investigator friend that took a quick look and found the Rifkin has almost 20 different tax liens, loan defaults and judgements against him and his companies. You can see for yourself if you do a background check on "Richard A. Rifkin, age 37 of Mill Valley". Not a good story by any means. People like these make me want to run to church and pray for salvation.
