We shipped a shipment with YRC and have had a bad experience with the handling of our freight claim. I sent an email to YRC requesting the status of the claim. I received a quick reply informing me that the claim was approved for payment, and to expect a check in 2 weeks or so. Shortly after receiving this email I issued our customer a full refund for their damaged and returned order. Several weeks later I received a letter in the mail saying that the claim was declined. I have been in contact with YRC claims department for over a month trying to get this resolved, and still can not get them to take responsibility for this. The claim rep who handled this case is Jo Perrin, and her supervisor is Gloria Hartmann.
