Miscellaneous

This is a personal email I wrote to the company myself.

I am sorry to sat that unfortunately you guys are a ripoff and I may just report you to the better business bureau. I also plan to tell all my friends not to use your site and how much of a ripoff your company is. All of your bikes are way overpriced. Especially the really messed up ones. For instance, I just reviewed your site and found a 2006 Yellow Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R with a Salvage Title. Now Kelly Blue Book says $6500. Your asking $4250. Let's review. First it's going to cost between $800 for a full cheap set of fairings from a 3rd party company or it could cost $1200 If I want to get just the fairings I need from a dealership and then have it painted which is another $500 or I could buy a full set of Painted fairings from the dealership which costs around $1800. So let's say I want to go the legal road and have all matching nice new fairings that are fit properly and legitimate. Ok so that's $1800. We no subtract that from the value of the nice bike. That now puts us at $4700. Now, the installation for those fairings at the dealership is about $250 last time I checked. Which was last week. You are now at $4450. Moving on we now have to buy new air ducts, new bolts for the fairings, new headlights, new wiring for the headlights, seats and of course more installation time for all of it. The cost of all that is roughly around another $750-$800 just for the parts. We'll go with $750 for your benefit. And then tack on about $500 for installation of all that as well. So another $1250 gone from the $4450 now puts you around $3200. So being at $3200 you should drop the price another $500 because of the salvage title like any other normal person and company does. Now you're at $2700. And because it's going to cost me $150 to have an inspector come out and check the bike after I get it all fixed to approve it as road worthy, another $200 should come off for that. So all in all this bike should sell for no more than $2500. The problem is I just found another bike exactly like this one in Florida. And it needs less work. Still runs too. My folks live in the area and I am going to take the bike to their house for a week and work on it non stop. Then I am going to trailer it back home to Virginia, have it inspected and voila it'll be done and ready to go. The other catch is, there's is only $500. So let me think about this for a second...$4250 for yours that needs and will cost me $4000 in parts and labor or $500 that will cost me about $1500 in parts and labor? Gee I wonder. $2000 vs $8000??? For $8000 I could go to a dealership and Buy a brand new 2009 ZX-6R. For $4250 I could get the perfect bike I want a Completely stock, low mileage, 100% working 2005 Honda CBR 600RR. For $6000 I could upgrade to the 1000RR. And I just saw on here today in Hampton Roads, VA a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R for $2500... 100% fine and perfect. Guy is in the military and being transferred and he can't take it with him. Guys need to step up your game before your company goes out of business. I used to own a business and shut it down to take care of my ill father. Number one rule, customer is always right. Number 2 rule, word of mouth has more advertising power than you could possibly know. And I will post this up on craigslist from here in VA and back again after going across the world. I will send it to every friends I have on Myspace, Facebook, Myyearbook, FUBAR and email. And trust me when I say a lot of my friends are in big business, firefighters, military, police or government and once I send out to each one, within 6 months your company would be shut down. Few more examples for your so called business:

(Asking is what this company is asking for at www.wreckedbike.com, KBB is the Kelly Blue Book Good Value. Dealership trick is you never give excellent value unless it's a brand new car the just left the showroom floor, and Actual Value is what the vehicle is worth after everything is fixed and with the salvage title. So what you should pay for this vehicle is the actual Value plus maybe an extra $500 to $1000 over for dealer costs)
'03 Honda VFR 800 Interceptor - Asking - $2800. Kbb - $5050. Actual Value - $1000-$1500

'04 Ducati 999 - Asking - $7450. Kbb - $9215. Actual Value - Fair Price

'07 Yamaha YZF R6 - Asking - $3650. Kbb - $6600. Actual Value - $1500. The only thing god about this bike was the motor. The rim was damaged, the sub frame needs replaced, the tailight and wirings need replaced, all new farings, new exhaust, new everything. How can u ask more than $3000 for a bike that barely runs and needs all new everything?

2005 VW Jetta GLI 4Dr. Turbo - Asking - $16,150. KBB - $12,035 Actual Value - $10000 http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/PricingReport. Aspx? YearId=2005&Mileage=40000&VehicleClass=UsedCar&ManufacturerId=50&ModelId=307&PriceType=Private Party&VehicleId=1807&SelectionHistory=1807|32294|23701|0|0|&Condition=Good&QuizConditions=

'04 Dodge Ram 2500 4dr. 2WD Pickup - Asking - $11,800. Kbb - $8,745. Actual Value - $7000.

I knew I would find one. The sites real major ripoff!!!
'00 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 Coupe. Asking - $23,950. Kbb - $6,915. Actual Value - $6,915
http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/PricingReport. Aspx? YearId=2000&Mileage=58401&VehicleClass=UsedCar&ManufacturerId=31&ModelId=211&PriceType=Private Party&VehicleId=6561&SelectionHistory=6561|32294|23701|0|0|&Condition=Good&QuizConditions=

'04 BMW 748Li - Asking - $23,700. Kbb - $22,575. Actual Value - $15000. The other major problem is, in there was no 748Li ever made. And in his pictures he so cleverly hid away the model indications on the trunk. So either he is lying about the model... Or he is lying about the year. Either way it's now false advertising.

Another Big One... 1990 Acura NSX Targa - Asking - $30,499. Kbb - $22,925. Actual Value - about $20,000. Again same deal. He listed it as a 1990 Acura NSX. However in 1990 there were now Acura NSX's as they didn't come out until 1991. Now you can't say he hit the wrong key there because the 1 and the 0 are very far from each other on the keyboard.
Http://www.kbb.com/kbb/Selection/Condition. Aspx? VehicleClass=UsedCar&ManufacturerId=2&VehicleId=10043&ModelId=13&PriceType=Private Party&YearId=1991&Mileage=79000&SelectionHistory=10043|32294|23701|0|0|

And last...
1992 Toyota MR2 - Asking - $5050. Kbb - $2,035. Actual Value - $2,035

So does anyone still want to buy or sell with this dealer? The funny thing is I know he has access to NADA and KBB. SO he knows what he should be offering for these vehicles. Sadly though, he probably offers $1000-$2000 less and then sells for anywhere between $2000 up to $20000 over the actual value of the vehicle...
