Men (and ladies, as well), watch your backs as this third-rate lawyer prowls the Internet in search of affairs and possibly a replacement husband. Her usual online user name is "LYN" - followed by a couple of numbers. She will never tell you her current marital status for fear of rejection. It is only after you are well into any relationship with her that she drops a hint that she just might be involved elsewhere.

She is currently married to a man who hasn't worked in six years, squanders money and plays on the Internet himself. She is pretty much broke despite making a comfortable salary at Alston-Bird, Atlanta. But this apparently isn't enough to satisfy her overwhelming credit card debt, et al. She is terrible with money and lacks any self-control, even when she's spending your money. Just as so, her abilities as a lawyer are not quite up to par as the firm's newly acquired law grads have a better track to being a partner and have more status than she does. She complains constantly of how great she is as a lawyer and how many other younger lawyers seem to be getting special treatment and better advancement within the firm. She always remarks at how much better she is than her current boss. This obviously isn't so since her last employer was heavily fined by the SEC for numerous violations - violations she was aware of and did nothing to correct since she had already landed the Alston-Bird position. The big firm probably was not made aware of this and were unable to connect the dots.

Additionally, she will try to use Alston-Bird's resources for her own personal gain. If you happen to be dating her and decide it's not a good fit, she will dig up every bit of information on you, even adding a bit of fiction to the mix and post it on the web. Recently she was dating a known cocaine addict. After he tried to break up with her, she tried to lower the boom. Clearly, this shouldn't be acceptable behavior from an officer of the court. Other men have suffered from her apparent lack of scruples and integrity - everyone that is except her own husband who has a dark and seedy past of his own. Apparently he is just a devious and lacking any morals from his relationships as she is, past or present. His last relationship involved ripping off his fiance and practically leaving her destitute while just getting involved with Dianne Lyn.

Be forewarned, this is not the kind of person anyone wants to get too cozy with - be it friends or co-workers. She has been known to also stab females in the back. On many occasions, she has called her superior (we'll call her 'Mary') a (we'll clean it up a bit) 'lady of the evening' because she wears high heels to work. Trenholm also gossips about other co-workers as to how much they're making, if they are double-billing, or with whom they are sharing a bed. She's never short on touting herself while demeaning others.

She has many of her friends and co-workers fooled, but let this be a warning to others not to make the same mistake.
