Oh these people make me sick picture this we are looking for a stud and come across a ad on hoobly a mantle great dane stud akc and ckc 160lbs and 36 inches and a picture of a great looking dog, so we give them a call and get a story abbout we are swithching to blues and that's why we are selling him and how they love him and this and that, so we went to look at him and OMG I almost died he was skinny and I mean sickly looking he had a huge skin tag as well as 3 smaller ones he had callouses all over him thick hard raw callouses (great danes have no protection on their elbows they should not be made to spend alot of time on hard surface's it will cause fluid on the elbow's) the poor dog's chest was raw pink and calloused. It made me sick and to think of leaving him there made me sicker. The husband gave us the paper's and yes we bought him although it was more like a rescue just to get him out of there. So we go to leave with supposed akc papers and vet record in hand. We get home and get him in the light and go to look at the paper's and record's and there is a sticker for 2 shot's the kind you buy at a feed store that are not recognized by vet's and ckc papers. We called asked where akc papers oh we will send them, then tammy call's well I have to get them then the next story was it was a typo in the ad and when the dog's condition is brought up well Im not going to help you get the papers then hung up. So next day vet trip the vet was disgusted by what she and the techs saw he weighed 115 lbs had ear infection's as well as other problems the skin tag that the husband said would cost $40.00 to remove is a $580.00 surgery. These people are horrible and if the breeding dog's are not cared for neither are the puppies they sell. Sick parent's mean sick puppies avoid these people like the plauge they are not reputable breeder's by any definition. Thor is healthy now and doing great now that he is out of thier so called care.
