Chad Garbe is a pathological liar. He makes up sob stories so that he looks like a victim in need of help. He does this in order to take advantage of caring people. He will get everything that he can from a person and will even steal from them. Once you catch on to his game and turn your back on him he will seek revenge on you by stealing from you, threatening you, slandering you, etc. He will spend the majority of his time seeking revenge on you. He will continue to seek revenge on you even after he has moved on to his next victim. He will tell the next victim about how you have wronged him, once again making himself out to be a victim who has been continually wronged by people and by life. The truth is that he was never abused as a child, he lost his big rig (that his mother loaned him the money to buy) because he drank several cocktails at a bar and then drove it from the bar in Eureka to Caterpillar in Fortuna where an employee saw that he was driving drunk and called the cops (he has threatened that employee for turning him in). He is an alcoholic, smokes pot every waking hour, and lies about having back problems in order to get pain pills from the doctor. He also lies about having back problems as an excuse not to work (yet he is able to lift weights). He tried getting permanent social security disability so that he wouldn't have to work anymore. When the MRI of his back showed that he only had a few slightly bulging discs and was able to work, he then said that he couldn't work because of anxiety and depression. He also uses his made-up anxiety disorder as an excuse to drink constantly, saying that alcohol is the only thing that helps. The truth is that he is a bipolar, childish, self-centered, manipulative, lying, using, hateful person that goes through life blaming everyone else for everything. He has no real friends. He goes years without speaking to his family over things like them refusing to give him money. Stay away from this guy - he will only bring chaos into your life. You'll have to move and change your phone number and email in order to get rid of him.
