DBA Parrots in Motion Takes money, refuses to render services paid for

I went to Shannon to get my Scarlet Macaw sexed. When I showed up, she wasn't even awake, dispite the fact that I made an appointment. She took blood from my bird and I paid her $20 to have the test run. She said that the results would be ready later that week. After two weeks, I still hadn't heard from her. I called her and left a message when she didn't answer. I called her about once a week for quite some time, but she never answered or called back. Finally I emailed her through her site, www.parrotsinmotion.com. Here is the email exchange -

Me - "Some months ago, I paid you $20 to have my Scarlet Macaw, Zuri, DNA sexed. You never got back to me with my results. I called you and you never answered my calls. I left messages and you never called me back. I'm very disappointed. If you sent the test in, I'd like my results. If you didn't, I'd like my money back. You can send a check to me at 101 N Front ST APT 104, Belding, MI 48809. Please email me and let me know as soon as possible. If you continue to ignore me, I will persue other options for getting my money back and start to warn other parrot owners of your preditory business pratices."

Shannon - "I never got any messages. And couldn't find your number

I have the sexing kit here.

I will be home this sunday as well as this coming tuesday.

My number is on the site and on this email if you want to call to schedule a time to come grab it"

Me - "Does that mean that you have the results or just the unprocessed kit?"

Shannon - "With the rudeness of your email to me and the threats you sent forward to me, I would rather have my uncle (Sheriff) present so you can get just the money handed to you. Keeping it simple, and short.

I manage a bank (M-F) and have never received an email like this, when I never heard back from you. I have been in customer service and management for 18 years, and this tops everything.

This email seems borderline P.P. O issuance needed.

How 'bout I send you a money order in the mail with a tracking attached so you can see where it is and so I know where it is and when It is received by you.

Me - "I didn't threaten you. I simply stated that if you continued to avoid me, I would let others in the area know that you were a crook. At no point did I say anything that would lead you to believe that I would cause you any harm.

If you have my results, I would like them. If not, I want my money. At this point, I don't care which. You have my address, please forward one or the other as soon as possible."

This woman is dishonest. Read my emails for yourself, I didn't threaten her. Don't do business with this women unless you are ready to deal with this kind of drama.
