Look at any mail they sent you. Do they have the mini Miranda on it. Violation #1.
Talking with relatives Violation #2. Now to make your attorney happy. You need more violations. If they call. Tape it. Do what ever it takes to get a digital picture of the number they are calling. Act dumb on the phone. You want to tell you that they will have you arrested or call you a deadbeat. Those are money makers. You need evidence!!! A tape recording of them getting nasty. You can pick up a device to tape the call at radio shack. Take your recorder along to make sure the connections work. Now when they get bold and nasty tape them. Keep them on the phone as along as you can. Play dumb!!! Act scared! Do not admit it your debt.
This debt is past statute of Limitations. I have the same problem with them. I have a few FDCPA violations and let them rack em up. Dimwits don't get it. You kick a horse enough and he going to kick back.
