I believe this a simple customer service issue. I fill 2 of the same prescriptions every month, costing just under $200. I asked if it were possible to call the pharmacy in advance of each dr's appointment, each month, in order that they might be able to have my medication on hand instead of my having to make 2 or 3 trips. Everyone seemed dissagreeable, including the pharmacist & the assistant manager. The best responce I was given was "we'll try - if you call". Other pharmacies have done this for me in the past and I have one (closer to home) that offered to order for me once I call. I will be changing pharmacies, mostly because the employees didn't seem to care about the cost of making 2 or 3 trips nor did they appear to care about the time I was forced to spend driving, and there was complete disreguard for the environmental impact that these trips made. I went to CVS, not because it was convenient, but because I enjoyed shopping the store. However, from here forward, I will be filling my prescriptions at a pharmacy that is not just closer to my home but one that obviously understands the meaning of customer service...
