Credit card fraud

I applied for a payday loan. A couple of days later I had a charge at my back for 49.95. I called them and asked them who they were and how they got my info. They told me when I applied for a loan the loan company sold them my info.
I told them I did not want there product, and to put the money back in my bank now!
They said that it would be sent to me in the mail. It has been over a month now. I do not understand how you can take someones money out in a mintue but these companies can not put it back in the same time. I don't even know if I will get the check.
I feel there should be a law that protects us from are info being sold to companies that we never asked for there product. These is the third time I have bought something online, and ended up get charges from companies I don't even know.
When I called them back to tell them that I still have not receive my check. They told me that they can not give me an exact time when I will receive my refund. I think they are never going to send me the check. Once again!!! Why can't a refund be put back in your bank account as fast as it is taken out.
