Refuses to cancel my account when I sent back everything unsigned with a letter to cancel

October I contacted Free Medicine Revolution after finding their web-site on line, I inquired about help with medicine as offered since I have been unemployed and have no health coverage.
I was told they could get me singular for $30.00 a month (saving me $120.00 per month). I gave them all the information needed - they drafted my account on Nov 3 in the amount of $80.00. I received my packet on November 5th that was to be signed by my doctor and myself. I immediately sent it back along with a handwritten letter advising that I wanted to cancel on the same date I received the packet (Nov 5). I was told by their customer service representative if I decided not to take it, to cancel it within 30 days. He told me this 3 times during our conversation.
On Nov 28th, while checking my account, I saw where they drafted $30.00 from my account which should have been cancelled. I contacted customer service speaking with Clarence - I told him I had mailed the unsigned paperwork back to them on Nov 5th along with my request to cancel. His system did not show ever receiving this request.
I sent a email to customer service as advised by Clarence, explaining in my email that I mailed the origional paperwork back with a letter requesting to cancel, I received a email back from customer service wanting a copy of my insurance card or statement from my doctor that I no longer was taking singular before they would cancel.
Their email informed me they would continue to draft my account or I could buy out my account for $120.00. I replied back to them that I had not received any medicine in the mail, I had done as instructed by their customer service rep, to cancel it within 30 days to avoid complications such as I am going through now.
I truly feel ripped off -I did as instructed and am getting no where. Do not get into the same trap with Free Medicine Revolution - as a professional I will not let this drop.
I will not buy out my contact and I want a full refund of initial $80.00 plus the $30.00 drafted from my account - this is very unfair! They are not out to help anyone except themselves and should not be in business. As far as I am concerned, they are taking advantage of people who truly need help in the weak economy.
