Gourmet Award Foods Check Scam Don't fall for it

I recieved a letter on november 23 with a check enclosed for $3895.00. The letter stated that I had won $100,000.00 and that they had tried to contact me by phone several times. Then it stated that readers digest along with other companies had entered my name in a montly drawing and that I had won. However, i was not suppose to cash the check till i had contacted Russell Edwards at (450) 350-0681. It said that when I called they would tell me how to recieve the rest of my prize money. Please do not fall for this scam. I know that times are hard for everyone and this seemed like a god send. However, before cashing the check I did a little research and found that this is a SCAM!!!
