My 29 year old son, Kevin, has Klinefelter's Syndrome. He has 2 extra sex chromosomes, XXYY. Because of this he often doesn't truely understand. This bank sent him a credit card that seems illegal. They sent 2 credit cards. They didn't have to be varifie, ready to use. Every credit card I have there was an 800 number to call to verify. Without this, anyone could use it. It seems the credit card would not want that liability They had sent something for him to sign. Which he did not. But he got the 2 credit cards ready to use with no verification. He has not spent a cent. He already owes $200.77. They had service fees, maintenance fees, activation fees, fees in case something happens to him. He has not used the card. I took it away. But they say he owes $200.77. He doesn't remember signing up for all the things they put down. This has got to be illegal.
The BBB asked how I would like this resolved:
I have taken the card away from my son. No charges have been made. I want that bank to take off the $200.77 charged to him. I cannot believe they are a real bank, or a real credit card company. This is just outrageous
I want the bank to forget my son's name, address and never contact him again. They should be ashamed for taking advantage of a person who is just a simple person who doesn't know the evil ways of money making companies. It just seems illegal to me.
