Moving Chicago LLC is a scam and Budget Truck Rental is letting them rip people off!

Moving Chicago LLC doing business business as Budget Truck Rental is a total scam!

I rented a Budget truck for a one way trip from Green Bay WI to Chicago. The final Destination was Moving Chicago LLC 2241 N Elston Avenue Chicago, IL 60614.

I dropped the truck off "fully fueled and cleaned" after hours. There was a sign by the drop box that read there was a $25 charge if you didn't leave an additonal copy of your paperwork. I never agreed to nor did I sign anything that bound me to that and I wasn't about to leave them the only copy of my receipt so I dropped the keys and left.

Because they couldn't legally charge me the $25 for their paperwork sign... They blatantly lied and said they had to "re-fuel and clean the truck". A total and complete lie! In fact, I have the receipt for the fuel and I also have 3 witnesses to vouch for me. When I called Moving Chicago LLC, they told me to call Budget customer service. I called Budget customer service and they were no help at all. I told them I had receipts and witnesses and they said they had to see what the shop owne said... What??? Yes... They would rather rely on someone who blatantly lied vs. The actual hard evidence I have. When I askd how the handled problem dealers like this who get caught in lies, she claimed they just refund the money.

They do not hold scammers like Moving Chicago LLC accountable at all, even when they get caught!

Unfortunately for Moving Chicago LLC and Budget Truck Rental, I do try to hold people accoutable and plan to take the steps needed to do so.

If anyone has any additional suggestions in dealing wit MOving Chicago at 2241 N Elston in chicago IL 60614 or Budget Truck/Car Rental, please let me know
