I signed up for a 3day trail for $1.00, not understanding I needed to cancel. Why would I need to cancel a $1.00 trail membership, SERIOUSLY? I got charged that plus $129.95 for services. I called 2 times Monday to even talk to someone, was transferred 3 times (I took name), then called my bank. My bank said to call the most helpful person back and admit that I was in error - that didn't work either.in the 2nd time I called (which I never yelled at the people but did end up crying to them, I'm unemployeed and this is a ton of money to me right now) they actually told me they would wave the month fee I was going to get.
WHAT SO NOW THEY ARE SAYING I'M GOING TO BE CHARGED THE $1, THE $129.95 AND A MONTHLY FEE OF $39.95
In the 3 days, I saw there was a freeze on my bank account and I couldn't transfer funds even from my own checking to savings accounts. I thought it was strange but a couple years ago this had happened and didn't think much of it. That was until I looked at my bank account Sunday and saw the $129.95 gone. There was a phone number listed on my estatement so I called it. A recording said that they would not be open till Monday. Well Saturday would have been the end of the 3 days so even if I knew to cancel I could have.
I signed up on 10/27/09 and received this email.
