Miscellaneous

I signed up to do something for free, that somebody had told me online from craigslist. I should've known better than to do this. I used a card that did not have any credit to it knowing it could not be charged.

The website never sent me a confirmation email or had me sign up with any membership information. The next thing I knew I received 2 emails thanking me for registering with their website. I immediately canceled both of the websites and I was still charged. They both talked about holding charges since they were free trials. Somebody needs to take these people down. It has to be easy to track them.

Anybody signing up for an identity/age check that is free, do not do it. It is a trick from Craigslist to get your card information out there. I am glad I have good banks that are taking care of everything. Be careful with these websites, especially craigslist. Do not ever give your SSN or any real personal information, esp. Not CC information. Good luck
