Good Afternoon

My name is Thomas Little, and I lived at your property at 888 East Clinton St. Phoenix, AZ 85020 Promontory Point Apartments. First, lovely, beautiful large graciously appointed apartments. Lovely area except for the occasional javelina, but easy to deal with. I must laugh coming from the east coast there's plenty of animals this way but the javelina was bit of a shock.

Unfortunately, the downside. I was actually kicked out of my apartment by Janet Cree the property manager.in this situation, I thought I was calling a corporate location but I guess it was only the district manager.

What happened, I moved in December while I can't recall the exact date. I do remember things started to get bitter I believe in January-late and February. I first received a notice asking if I could clear up a lease violation. The violation was, there was another tenant living in the apartment and not on the lease. The tenant according to the rental office was Porsche Gray. I would first like to give you some information on Porsche, she is 21 years old, at the time she was a student at the University of Maryland University College, she lived with her boyfriend Keith on a lease they had together, she was also employed in the state of Maryland. She is my stepdaughter.

The information I gave you on Porsche, I made an attempt to give to Janet Cree and I believe, Nicole was in the office at the time. They both laugh before I could complete the information. Janet told me straight to my face, "she's not your daughter", she also told me she had proof she was living with me. The proof was my daughter's W-2, which I still have, where you can clearly see, the company had to place a piece of paper over her real address and send it to the Phoenix location. The other piece of information the rental office had was my daughter's credit cards, of course when, your children are on your account as authorized users, the company send the cards to the billing address. How I knew they had those pieces of mail, when they laughed at me and I told them you must have her mail, 2 things happened, they became infuriated telling me how dare I accused them of stealing mail, but most importantly the very next day, in my mail box was those letters.

I then called the post office and the mail person admitted to giving the rental office the letters because she was not familiar with the name on the letters. I have letters that I filed directly with the Post Master general in Washington DC about this.

Back to the rental office, Janet began yelling at me telling me things like how dare you accuse me of stealing mail, and I told her the only way she would have known is by stealing my mail. I told her to stop doing it, she told be to leave the rental office and when I got back to my apartment, I called my employer to inform her of the situation. I was able to get someone from the EAP to recommend some help, I even began to do some research on my own about the apartments and came up with other complaints against Janet Cree and tampering with mail. I am sure corporate may not be aware of her meddling but I thought it was high time it was reported. Even more so because I received a letter stating I owe Promontory Pointe 2214.06. An amount I refuse to pay, I did not terminate my lease, I did not violate my lease. After arriving back to my apartment I made a few phone calls and 15-20 minutes later, a knock at the door and it was the police. He chatted with me for 5-7 minutes, agrees with the post office letting Janet look over my mail and then asked if I would allow Janet to give me something. An eviction notice, for violating my lease, went to court, did not plea guilty gave my side of the story, recorded on a CD. Judge gave me 48 hours to get out due to disorderly conduct, he never address the court papers of lease violation.

This is a long story, a lot to discuss. I was hoping to chat with someone. I had to quickly move back to my hometown of PA, borrow money, quit my job and evicted. Not being heard by a judge for what I was actually charged for.

I am hoping for some assistance. I have no problem with AZ. I loved my place, my job. I would like a solution to this problem. I would like to be able to discuss this and resolve it
