Sunglasses broke after 2 1/2 months

Miscellaneous

Bought FOUR of UPGRADED HD Vision Sunglasses for $123.86.3 of the 4 sunglasses broke in same fashion after less than 2 1/2 months.in each case, the frame separated around one of the lenses despite the fact that the sunglasses were well cared for. To me, this is a design defect. I note that the sunglasses look good, the lenses appear satisfactory (no scratches, good uniform lens color, bifocal properly placed, etc.) and the frames, while having cheap but satisfactory hinges, look good and were comfortable.
That said, first, the shipping and handling fees were outrageous ($43.92). I just read the 2 year warranty information that came with the glasses and they want another $6.99 for return postage to honor the warranty. I read the other report here and decided I don't want to invest any more in these poor value sunglasses. I have not contacted HD Visions Wraparounds (warranty address) because I don't want to waste any more time based on the experiences of the other party who reported here.
