Froze account and was told account would go back to original state upon return from business trip. It did not and sales rep trys to sell me a new one

I was told by the same meat head as a previous complainer on this site had mentioned, that I was to fax my membership to freeze it to the company that takes out my monthly membership. I was told that when I returned that me and my husbands membership would resume, same cost as before. We paid one price for a couple membership, had been with them for over a year already and Low and behold, our membership was canceled upon our return.Pro fitness (meathead, Italian looking guy) informs us that the membership we had previously is no longer an option and I had to pay an INITIATION FEE TO RE-ENROLL!!! I was furious! I told him that one of his sales rep explained to me what I needed to do to freeze our account. If I knew this was going to happen I would have NEVER frozen it and paid our monthly dues for the month we would be gone. He would not let it go, insisted I pay the fee and had our monthly membership go UP MORE than what we paid as a couples fee. The owner is rude, talks to you as though your an idiot and had no sensitivity to the fact that we had been loyal customers for over a year. I do not recommend them. Customer service so POOR and you can get MORE for LESS at 24 hour fitness than what this clown offers at his gym! Turn your head the other way.
