Relais Esplanade Apartments Kenner, LA. Relais Esplanade/Shadowlake Management. Apartments are Full of ANTS and Roaches that management will not disclose to you before you sign the lease. I can not cook in the apartment the smeill of food

I am currently stuck in a horrible living situation. I have only lived in the Relais Esplanade apartments for 6 weeks. Relais Esplanade apartments are Ant, cockroach, and wasp infected. Just to name a few. I come home daily to ants in my home, cockroach's and wasps in the breezeways and a management staff who could basically care less.
My roommate had a new bed delivered. I watched the delivery guys rip off the plastic that contained the new mattress and box spring and set the bed up. My roommate was excited and went to the store to purchase a new comforter set and sheets. That night my roommate climbed into bed. A few hours later, my roommate came running out of her room saying, "they're everywhere!". The new bed was covered with four different species of Ants which were crawling all over my roommate which caused my roommate to wake up. We then packaged up the new comforter, sheets, and pillows and we both slept on the couch. The next morning when we awoke there where ants in the kitchen, and bathroom at the other side of the apartment. Everytime we eat or attempt to cook the Ants come. The smell of any food of any kind brings the Ants. It is to the point now that we go without eating. We do not cook or bring food into the apartment. We do not sleep at night because that is also when the ants come. Every five minutes when we try and sleep, any little itch that one of us may feel awakes us with the horror of ants possibly crawling on us.
Relais Esplanade/Shadowlake management's only solution is, call the Orkin man. Well the orkin man comes weekly, sometimes twice a week, to spray the apartment which has now made my animals sick. Before the lease was signed, my roommate asked management if there was an insect problem, my roommate and a witness that was there, was then told, "no". The lease was signed based on this trust of their not being an insect problem which initially was not the truth. We are now being told by the orkin man that there is an Ant nest possibly being made under the carpet. We have asked to move or be released from our lease and have been told by relais esplanade/shadowlake management we must pay $1800 to do so. All our money was used to move into this place to begin with. Everyday gets worse to the point that I have to sit in my car to eat and sleep to be able to relax. A person paying rent should not have to live like this. I am now preparing for another night of no sleep, no food, and taking care of sick animals.
Is there anyone who may be able to help?
Please if you have a choice DO NOT RENT AT RELAIS ESPLANADE APARTMENTS in Kenner, LA. Ran by Shadowlake Management. Stay away!
You do not want to end up suffering like my roommate and I.
This is a horrible place to live, steer clear.
