Interview-
As recent college grad. I don't have much experience, but I am hard working. I send out so many resumes including, using yahoo monster job search and craigslist. One of the jobs I applied for was a marketing firm claiming to be the best in the area. I send my resume in and immediately got a response. The next day I went in for a short interview (10mins). My questions were simple such as do you watch sports, is this a job you are looking for or a career, how much do you expect to make from this, etc. After answering all the questions the manager invited me back for a second interview. He explained the second interview is unpaid 9am-5pm one day observation with another manager.

One - day observation-
When I came in the next day for the second interview I was given a form to fill out from the receptionist. The form was just to state that I acknowledge the field observation was unpaid. While waiting to be called in for the interview another young lady who sat next to me was also waiting for her second interview. She told me about her experience which is also similar to my first interview. We also joke about making a big impression on the field observation because we both wanted the job.

In the car ride to our locations-
After meeting the manager introduce me to the interviewer (another manager). He said my goal was to shadow her and learn from her because she was going to give me a recommendation. Then at the end of the day I was going to get a questionnaire to see whether I pass the observation.

She drove me around town (shopping center, business building, etc) just basically a location where there is a lot of people. We were soliciting business. One incident was when we walk down hall of a business building the security guard saw us and she quickly turn around (I followed) and walk toward the opposite direction. She told me later that security guard can kick us out the building if we don't act smart.

During lunch time she explained how you start as a associate and moved your way up to the Manager position. You start from Entry Level Associate, Account Manager, Manager. Once you are in the manager position you can open your own office and work along with other sister firms (all under the same Causing Marketing Solutions).

Not only did I waste my time, but I walked all day. YOU have to drive your vehicle (wasting gas) just to earn the commission. It's not only until you reach Account Manager you make like min. Wage your commission. What happens when you didn't sell anything for the job?

When I realized how much scheme is put into this I quickly rejected theoffer. I even when home and looked up their information because itsounds so fishy. Please anyone reading this do not even go to theirinterview.
